Aquaculture Funding at New Hampshire Uni

US - The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) will give $355,000 to the University of New Hampshire, US to invest in new aquaculture research.

According to AllAboutFeed.net, these funds will allow the university to research technologies for reducing damage to offshore cages by marine organisms and to develop new depth control technologies for optimizing fish feeding, metabolism, stress reduction and growth.

"We are very pleased with the support of our open ocean aquaculture research" said Dr. Richard Langan, Director of the Atlantic Marine Aquaculture Center.
