Aquaculture businesses are eligible for loans for capital construction and certain other investment costs.
Vessel financing or refinancing that could contribute to overcapitalisation by increasing harvesting capacity is prohibited by regulation.

Finance Available For Fisheries Projects
US - Federal financial assistance for fisheries or aquaculture related facilities is available through the NOAA Aquaculture Programme and the NOAA Fisheries Financial Services Division.
