The breeding of major carps will be done by the end of this month. Muhammad Hafeez-ur-Rehman, Lecturer/Hatchery Manager, Noor Khan, Assistant Professor, Fayyaz Rasool, Lecturer/Farm Manager, Iftikhar Ahmad Qureshi, a PhD student and other postgraduate students successfully bred the silver carp.
The ova prim hormone was injected and stripping of silver carp was accomplished by the students of BS (Hons) Fisheries and Aquaculture, 2nd and 4th semester and postgraduate students, as part of their hands-on training exercise.
