The party leader, Phil Heatley, speaking at the Aquaculture New Zealand conference on Friday, said he wanted to wait until the prime minister Helen Clark announced the election date, before issuing specific policies, according to a report in the Malborough Express.

Mr Heatley said the Resource Management Act would be reformed the aquaculture in mind according to the report.
