Stehr Group hooks Whyalla fish farm

AUSTRALIA - Clean Seas Tuna Limited is looking to move to Whyalla with the acquisition of South Australia Aquaculture management (SAAM) business and assets at Fitzgerald Bay.

Clean Seas Tuna Limited, a branch of leading shareholder Stehr Group, is hoping to become Australia's leading fin-fish farmer with this business acquisition to see its production of kingfish jump 500 per cent by the end of the financial year.

Clean Seas chairman Hagen Stehr is very excited about the acquisition and believes it will be a good move for the company and Whyalla.

"This could be a good acquisition for us ... the problem we have is if we are welcome in Whyalla," Mr Stehr said.

"It is important to get the support of the Whyalla people."
