Dr Jean-Baptiste Lamy

Dr Lamy joined Ifremer in 2014. His main topics are quantitative genetics and genomics, approaches of diseases in marine molluscs by understanding the interaction between the pathogens (virus, bacteria or neoplasia cells) and the host. He works on both side of the parasitic interaction - the host and how to mitigate the impact of the disease; and the pathogen, how and when does the disease appear. Most of his work is devoted to find applied solutions to decrease the impact of diseases on shellfish production.
