The move by the country's Parliament this week will se amendments in the fishery laws.
The money will fund a program to develop the fishery sector, as well as bringing in of measures for the reproduction, protection, scientific support and increasing fish and other living aquatic resources, according to a report in AzerNews.
According to the draft, relevant executive bodies will establish the fund and its activity will be governed by the regulations approved by those bodies.
The whole project in state owned aquaculture facilities will be funded by the state.
