AUSTRALIA - Western Australia based Cell Aquaculture (CAQ) has announced a Memorandum of Understanding with a Malaysian based multinational corporation to commence feasibility of establishing large scale land based aquaculture production.

The large land scale based production will utilise CAQ’s unique Cell™ production technologies and vertically integrated ‘Hatch to Dispatch' business model.

Commenting on the collaboration, CAQ Chairman Perry Leach said: “Following a rigorous selection process, we are extremely pleased to have been chosen to advance this very exciting large scale aquaculture opportunity. This collaboration represents an incredible opportunity for CAQ to work with a highly esteemed organisation, with the size, scale and proven track record that many multinational organisations would envy.”

Mr Leach concluded: “It is our intention to ensure that their progression into the aquaculture sector is a thriving success”.
