The National Commission of Aquaculture (CONAPESCA) and Fisheries and Consumer Federation (PROFECO) will be overseeing the availability of price lists in public markets and major supermarkets.
Explaining the measures to the consumer, a press release said: “The purpose of these actions in to ensure consumer rights and protect your pocket.”
The moves comes during Lent, a season of higher demand in which the alliance wants to protect shoppers.
