Import restrictions were justified by the finding of undesirable bacteria in imported consignments from the business.

Import restrictions apply from 8 August. The slaughterhouse will be monitored through inspections and tests.

There are now 28 companies that can export farmed salmon to Russia. Of these, eight can export only frozen salmon and trout.
