SAGARPA reported that 283.5 million pesos are for direct support to shrimp farmers and an insurance fund of up to 317.5 million pesos is available.
A fund of 143.5 million pesos was created to support farmers affected by diseases that reduce the production. This was distributed as follows: 90 MDP to Sinaloa, 45.3 to Sonora and 8.2 to Nayarit.
A further 140 million was given in support of the acquisition of larvae for planting in the three states, as part of measures to boost the productive sector.
