Mr Lorentzen has resigned with immediate effect from leading salmon specialists Morpol ASA. New board compositions will be communicated in due time.
In other news for the company, Morpol ASA have reported a positive EBIT pre fair value for the first quarter 2011 of €6.2 million. This includes one off exceptional costs related to acquisitions, totaling €1.0 million, meaning the operational EBIT was €7.3 million. The EBIT in the corresponding quarter last year was €5.2 million.

NORWAY- In a recent press release, chairman of the board of Morpol ASA, James Stove Lorentzen, has resigned from his position.
