BRUNEI DARUSSALAM - An outbreak of white spot disease has been reported to the OIE by Dr Dabeding Dullah, Department of Agriculture and Agrifood, Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam.

An outbreak of white spot disease has been reported on a salt water blue shrimp farm in Telisai, Tutong.

Around 152261 shrimp were susceptible, which resulted in 123462 being destroyed.

The outbreak effects the whole country.

The source of the outbreak is unknown.
