The project, together with the Taiwan Technical Mission, will strengthen the sustainability of aquaculture projects in research stations and the production of tilapia and shrimp.

Upon signing the deed of the gift, the Minister of Agriculture, Mr Pablo Ochoa said: "Fishing and aquaculture are definitely one of the fields where we have advanced in terms of integration."

"In our country we promote aquaculture programmes with very positive results. The Taiwan Technical Mission will provide technical assistance to producers enabling higher levels of productivity in their fishing activities," concluded the Minister.
