According to him, the importation of tilapia into the country is threatening the fisheries sector, reports the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation.

Mr Bilijoe said this during a working visit accompanied by the Israeli Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Yair Shamir, who paid a working visit to Raanan Fish Feed West Africa, to familiarize themselves with the production of fish feed for the local and international markets at Prampram.
