US Appeals Tuna Dispute Panel Report

US - On 20 January 2012, the United States notified the Dispute Settlement Body of its decision to appeal the panel report in dispute case United States Measures Concerning the Importation, Marketing and Sale of Tuna and Tuna Products.

The appeal follows the report by the World Trade Organisation on the US-Mexico tuna-dolpin dispute, which found the US to be more trade-restrictive than neccessary on Mexican tuna.
