The board of directors thanked Mr Márquez de la Plata Cortés for all his work during the 10 years he was the general manager.
His resignation will become effective on 31 March.
The board has appointed Mr Tober Petersen the new general manager. He will take over this position from 1 April, 2014.
Mr Petersen has a wide and well-known background in the salmon industry and became involved in the company through the Salmones Chaicas SA project, a subsidiary of Empresas Aquachile.
