CHILE - Biomar Chile receives an operating capital boost to help the company get through the current sanitary and economic crisis in the nations salmon industry.

According to a report from Fish Farming Xpert, Biomar Chile, which is part of the Biomar Holding from Denmark has been granted approval for a capital increase from US$ 14.14 million to US$ 35.68 million in order to "confront the complex global economic scenario and the sanitary crisis that affects the salmon industry," states a company announcement in La Estrategia.

The company Biomar Chile began in 2001 when Biomar Group purchased the Chilean company Ecofeed S.A.
