This is the first of several meetings that will discuss approaches and agreements towards the development of the fisheries and aquaculture sector in the country.
Ismael Oliveros, the Zulia state representative at the national meeting, explained that within the objectives of the National Plan for Fisheries 2014 - 2019 is encouraging training of fishermen about how to protect fish resources and developing a fund for fisheries and aquaculture.
