The deal to buy the former Chilean fish farming company was announced in September and the deal went through shortly before Christmas.
Marine Harvest paid a total of $125 million for the company - $5 million more than the initial purchase price, which Marine Harvest said reflects a higher biomass at sea.
The asset purchase is subjected to VAT of approximately $10 million and will be financed temporarily by Marine Harvest. The VAT is fully refundable.
