These statistics have been released as part of a new segment of the Sernapesca website which will be updated quarterly.

The statistics fulfill one of the commitments made by the National Director of Sernapesca, Juan Luis Ansoleaga, during his visit to Galicia, Spain, where he met with regional fisheries within the framework of the International Fair Frozen Seafood, Conxemar.

The National Marine Fisheries Service is committed to delivering statistical information that helps Spanish counterparts to know accurate and timely development of bivalve mollusc exports from Chile to Europe.

This enables Spain to analyse the behaviour of this important market.
