An outbreak of Infection with Perkinsus marinus has been reported at a open brackish water oyster farm in the estuary of the River Paraba, Lucena, Brazil.
The outbreak affects the whole country but OIE has stated the case is now resolved.
The source of the outbreak was unknown.
