The Ministerial Agreement No. 004 of 13 January 2014 established the prohibition of capture, transport, process and internal market in closed season.
During the closure 536 units crabs were were seized and returned to their natural habitat.
Red Crab Fishing Ban Ends in Ecuador
ECUADOR - The Vice Ministry of Aquaculture and Fisheries MAGAP informed that the ban on fishing for red crab has ended.
