The government visited the communities of Jasy Poty, Rio Verde, Rio Corrientemi and Ka'aguy Pyahu, located in the district of Capiibary, San Pedro, to construct three community ponds before the fingerlings arrived.
The fingerlings were donated by the Deputy Minister of Livestock Cooperation and the Taiwan Technical Mission.
