COLOMBIA - Despite having two big seas and freshwater reserves, consumption of seafood in Colombia remains low. However, with the arrival of Easter, fish consumption is expected to increase 25 per cent. Fried and grilled, tilapia, trout and shrimp are dishes that are a must on the menu this season, reports elheraldo.

This was confirmed by Alvaro Arenas, Commercial Director of Fish Farming West Antiochian company dedicated to the production and marketing of fish.

Speaking to the newspaper, Mr Arenas said: "Surely Easter is a good time on a commercial for the company because it represents an increase in sales of between 30 and 35 per cent to supply restaurants and retail chains to increase their orders."
